Founded in 1961, Applied Microfilm Company incorporated in 1967, and has been providing micrographic services to a wide variety of business. Engineering companies, Universities, Financial Services firms, Manufacturing Companies, Law Firms, Libraries and Bioengineering Companies have entrusted confidential, fragile, one of a kind documents to AMC for replication, filming and storage.

In the early 1990's, realizing the potential of electronic imaging and CD-ROM technology, AMC began to shift its focus from film and fiche towards digital imaging and Document Management solutions. The name of the company was changed to Applied Microimage Corporation, to better reflect its commitment to better meet the needs of its existing clients and to broaden its scope to new or potential customers.

The company has expanded its product and services offerings continuously by adding onsite or offsite document and image scanning, sales and service of document scanners, sales and support of Document Management software, offsite storage of vital records and media, sales of fireproof cabinets and safes. We find ourselves more in the business of providing disaster recovery or records management solutions, than just a simple sales and service organization. Combining these items and services to the existing filming and micrographic services, allowed AMC to offer a broad variety of options and prices to its clients.
